Charity Support

Our yoga students have been major contributors for our charity projects and we like to thank you for your continuous support. As such Kevala Centre would like to extend our charity work and intend to undertake a few projects. We hope our students would continue to support us to make these charity projects a success. Below are the projects that we are undertaking:-

Kevala Centre intends to be a distribution centre. We welcome those who would like to contribute food items, clothes (no torn clothes, washed and ironed), usable electrical items, books, etc. Among items that are urgently needed i.e: rice, sugar, milk powder, milo, tea, flour, cooking oil, salt, noodles, biscuits, bathing soap, detergent. WE DO NOT COLLECT CASH.

Several orphanages, old folk homes, home for mentally challenged and disabled has been identified and we will forward these contributions on a rotation basis. We would be collecting these items on the 30th of every month. For those who would like to contribute on a monthly basis, kindly call our office and be on our donor list or donors can drop off their donations at our centre: No 50-1, 1st Floor, Jalan SS19/1D, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Those who know any families who are in dire need, kindly notify us.

Kevala Centre has adopted the Orang Asli Settlement in Sungkai, Trolak, Perak. There are between 100-150 families in this village and they are in dire need of help. Many of them are young and school going children. Currently they are living in attap homes and have no proper sanitation. As such, Kevala Centre has decided to start, a few projects:

  1. To donate food items to each family in the village
  2. To provide uniform, books, shoes and bags for children going to school
  3. To hold medical camp
